    "Algie" Crapsey, the fifth of eight children born to the Rev. Algernon Sidney Crapsey and his wife Adelaide Trowbridge Crapsey, was Emily Sibley Watson's godson.

    In a letter to her daughter dated 12/27/1892, Elizabeth Sibley writes: "It seems that Algie was rather sad and quiet all day on Christmas, his mother asked him at night what was the matter with him? He answered you know Mama I have never had a Christmas without my Godmother before, and was thinking of her."

    Marie Louise Crapsey was the seventh of eight children born to the Rev. Algernon Sidney Crapsey and his wife Adelaide Trowbridge Crapsey. In a letter to her daughter 12/27/1892, Elizabeth Sibley describes giving Marie Louise a dress for Christmas.

    Notes:

    Ruth Crapsey was the sixth of eight children born to Rev. Algernon Sidney Crapsey and his wife Adelaide Trowbridge Crapsey. She may have been a sickly child. In a letter to her daughter 1/10/1893 Elizabeth Sibley writes: "I heard yesterday that Ruth is having gatherings in her head, she is very deaf does not improve in that respect."
