Friends and Acquaintances of Emily Sibley Watson:
Emmett H. Jennings returned to Rochester after his graduation from Harvard in 1886, where he was employed in the family firm of Keeler & Jennings, a Rochester carriage & harness manufacturer started by his grandfather. Elizabeth Sibley speculated on his upcoming marriage to Ella Durand in a 12/27/1892 letter to her daughter Emily Sibley Watson. The couple were married on July 12, 1893. After living with Mr. Jennings' mother for several years, they moved to Avon, NY, where Mr. Jennings maintained a well-known hunting stable.
