Family of Emily Sibley Watson:
A brother of Elizabeth Tinker Sibley, Edward Tinker was a man of stature in the community of North Adams, Massachusetts. At various times, he was the postmaster, collector of taxes and customs, and had a gunpowder manufactury. He was also instrumental in the nomination of Abraham Lincoln for the presidency in 1860.
