Emily Sibley Watson’s Family

Gilman Henry Hubbell Perkins (1861-1894)

First husband to Emily Sibley Watson’s niece Marie Louise Atkinson Willard, seen here playing Cupid in a tableau, 1875.  

The couple married in 1889 at St. Andrews Church, officiated by Rev. Algernon Crapsey.  The marriage was short-lived, however, as Henry Perkins died suddenly of a brain inflammation four years later, at the age of 32.
