John Abecasis, referred to by Emily Sibley Watson as John or Johnson: interpreter during trip to Morocco. A business card in the George Eastman Museum Film Archive indicates that John Abecasis worked as a courier and interpreter from a base in the Hotel Continental in Tangier. John Abecasis is shown far left in this picture, with a caption in Emily Sibley Watson's handwriting in an album in George Eastman Museum. In the Camping in Morocco script, Emily describes "John" as "the interpreter a fat young Jew mounted on a fiery steed which caused him no end of trouble."
