Salt Lake City
One week later, our travelers had left Yellowstone and were sight-seeing in Utah. We don't yet know how they traveled from Yellowstone to the Great Salt Lake. They could have: returned north to Livingston and taken the train further west to Butte, Montana, with connections to Ogden, Utah; travelled through the west entrance of Yellowstone, then dropping south to Pocatello, with connections to Ogden; a less likely possibility would have them travel southeast through the Grand Tetons to Green River, with connections to Salt Lake City.
