Horsing Around Fall 1902

J.G. Averell's horse Sundown won first place in the polo ponies obstacle race in Brockport at the annual horse show associated with the Monroe County Fair on September 26, 1902.  Throughout the Fall, J.G. participated in meets with the Genesee Valley Hunt, ending by serving as master of the hunt on December 3rd, when William A. Wadsworth had injured himself.
