Elizabeth Sibley's October 13, 1890 letter acknowledges Emily's letter of October 5th. She writes news of a new baby for Rufus Adams Sibley and his wife Elizabeth. She sent them a baby blanket acquired from the Art Exchange. Elizabeth asks Emily to "thank the two Mrs. Canfields for me for their kindness to you" and explains that she has "not written J.G. for the reason that I hoped every letter would be the last I should write to you in Santa B.
