From his noisy club, James Sibley Watson writes to Emily in New York. "I should have written you yesterday but that I hoped to see Hiram & find out what you were doing & whether you were going to Atlantic City or not."Jimmie may have visited Emily in New York a he speaks of catching the train four days earlier. In an indication that Emily may have headed to Atlantic City, Jimmie writes: "I hope you are all over your head ache & that Dr. Youngman will let you come home soon." Dr. Youngman was a homeopathic physician practicing in Atlantic City.
